Music Box Candy Dish

For the First Communion celebration of someone special, this music box candy dish makes a welcome gift. As you can see, it is a USABLE music box. In the shape of a small covered dish, it is a convenient size for containing candy, or dresser or bath items. The music box, like all of our pottery, is wheel-thrown, not molded. The musical works are attached to the underside of the lid and the key goes through an opening to the top of the lid. At the base of the curled handle on the lid is a simple cross.

The music box is for all ages, of course, and would make a wonderful gift for a seminary graduate, or newly ordained minister as well as a wedding gift or confirmation gift.
