Introducing RED COMMUNIONWARE

We are delighted to be able to offer special communion chalices and patens in a our newest color! We have the red items shown below, by special order, in two patterns - a plain red and a two tone red and cream. The glaze is a medium red with some translucency (NOT opaque) and a satiny sheen, lead-free and safe to use.

NOTE: Please call for info on lead time (usually 6 wks.) Phone orders (800-426-7687) will be charged just before shipping, but online orders must be charged immediately because Google Checkout will not retain them. (If you prefer to receive a Paypal invoice, please email us your order details.)

All our pottery is wheel-thrown, not molded. It is made from a durable stoneware clay. Following are descriptions of the glazes and shapes. Mix and match or combine in sets.

This is our full size communion goblet (chalice), shown in the Plain Red glaze. Height is about 7 1/2". It will hold 10 to 12 oz. It can be made either with or without the carved cross. The paten (plate) shown is the 6 1/2" diameter size; a regular full-size 9 1/2" paten is also available.
