Portable Communion Ware

This communionware is smaller than the full-size sets, and designed for travel. The vessels would be appropriate to use to share communion with homebound or hospitalized members. They may be used for retreats, meetings, family gatherings or in any setting where Christians gather to share the sacraments.

We have made the items available in sets, and also individually so that you can combine the various pieces to make a set that will fit your needs. It is our sincere wish that, together, we can serve God by sharing the Lord's Supper with His people.

This is the travel goblet, shown in "Cream" glaze. Height is 5 1/4 to 5 3/4". You can judge the size in proportion to the hand. The capacity is about a half cup. Cream is a neutral, speckled, satin glaze - the same base glaze used for our Otoe pattern in the full-size congregational sets.

Note: The travel goblet also makes a nice First Communion gift, either by itself or with a travel paten.

This is the "Elder" travel set - a small paten, small jug for the juice or wine, and a communion cup. The paten is approximately 4 1/2" in diameter. The cup is about 2 1/2" high and will contain approximately 6 to 8 oz. The little cork-topped jug for juice or wine, is 4 to 4 1/2" high, with a capacity of about 8 oz."Neuhaus" is the pattern shown, which is our Bluejean glaze. It's a deep midnight blue with lighter blue floating accents. Use a simple basket for carrying, or order one of our cases.

The "Pastor" travel set shown here is a sample of the "Memorial" pattern communionware. The little cork-topped jug for juice or wine, is 4 to 4 1/2" high, with a capacity of about 8 oz. The small paten is 4 1/2" in diameter and the travel goblet is 5 1/4 to 5 3/4" high. Memorial is unglazed except for the inside and rim of vessels, where it is glazed in a shiny dark brown. The clay is variegated in color and has a very rustic appearance. Expect variations

This is our "Retreat" travel set in the "Cream" pattern. The little cork-topped jug (cruet) for juice or wine, is 4 to 4 1/2" high, with a capacity of about 8 oz. The jar (host jar) is for bread or wafers and is about the same capacity as the jug. The small paten is 4 1/2" in diameter. A sleeve of 50 plastic cups is included with this set. Cream is a neutral, speckled, satin glaze - the same base glaze used for our Otoe pattern in the full-size congregational sets.
